Here's how I check crochet patterns before I add them to this website:
All crochet patterns are meticulously checked by me before they are approved
I check the pattern's product images / videos. Anything Ai in it = not accepted
I check the pattern's reviews on all platforms that it is available on
I check the designer's social media (not personal account) for complaints about being Ai/fake
I check the designer's YouTube channel (if there is one)
When in doubt, I ask for a screenshot of a SMALL part of the pattern
The designer must have a clear profile picture, not some Ai avatar
Shops only a couple of months old will need to wait till they have plenty of reviews
What I do not do:
I will NEVER ask the seller to send the crochet pattern itself to me
I do not sell the crochet patterns on here. This site is a catalog, not a shop
I do not ask for a payment from the sellers to add their patterns to this site
I refuse to add any patterns that have complaints against them (Ai, stolen,..)

Note: As you can see above here, there's quite a few things that are checked before a crochet pattern is confirmed to be real.
That is NOT to be difficult..it's just simply to build trust.
In this day and age people have lost trust in many sites because of all the fake Ai patterns and stolen patterns. So it's very important that people know the rules are strict because then they are sure that this site/catalog can indeed be trusted.
I assure you, you will NEVER find a fake or stolen crochet pattern on here. If it's in the catalog on this site = it is real and by the original designer leading to the official shop of the original designer.
