Crochet pattern for a one-piece polar bear. It’s very easy to crochet—you don’t have to sew the legs together; you simply crochet the stuffed animal as a single piece. The instructions are clear, and with this easy pattern, you can make a cute polar bear in no time. Crochet the polar bear using white crochet cotton and a matching crochet hook. This way, you can decide the size of your polar bears yourself. I used Scheepjes Cahlista yarn and a size 4.5 crochet hook; the polar bear turns out to be about 25 cm tall.
These polar bears are really cute as a mobile—crochet 5 of them and hang them from a wooden arch. They’re perfect for the nursery! Crochet the polar bear, follow me on social media, and post your photo on Facebook. On Instagram, use the hashtag #afgehaked so I can see all your creations!
Kids and stuffed animals—they go hand in hand. In my crochet patterns, I’ve taken into account that kids love to cuddle. For example, with this polar bear, I don’t use plastic eyes—I use threads instead. Since the polar bear is crocheted in one piece, there are no loose threads on the stuffed animal. And finally, I’ll share some tips on how to safely finish off those loose threads.
Please keep reviews polite, fair and constructive. A pattern should be reviewed based on the quality and clarity of the instructions, rather than on how easy or difficult it feels for you personally. If you are new to crochet or have limited experience, finding a pattern challenging does not necessarily mean there is a problem with the pattern itself.

Here you get to ask and answer questions about the crochet pattern. Do keep it polite. No mocking people, no racism, no bringing in politics, …) . No question is a stupid question (even if you feel it is).
